Hood River County Juvenile Dept.
The primary and statutory responsibility of the Juvenile Department is to accept and process referrals of children and youth under 18 years of age, to coordinate Juvenile Court hearings, provide access to counseling services and supervise youth placed under Court probation. The primary goal of the department is to refer youth to programs within and outside of the community designed to divert youth from the Criminal Justice System as often as possible.
