Jackson County Juvenile Services provides a continuum of services in an effort to prevent further criminal activity by the use of early and certain sanctions, reformation and rehabilitation programs. Jackson County Juvenile Services directly, or through community partnerships, provides: 24 hour intake screenings, risk assessments, formal accountability agreements, formal court proceedings, probation supervision, community service work program, victim offender mediation, education services, alcohol and drug assessment and treatment, mental health assessments and counseling, out-patient adolescent sex offender treatment, juvenile fire setter program, parent skills training, a juvenile detention facility, and a juvenile assessment and evaluation shelter facility.
