The Juvenile Director works for the County Judge and case manages youth presenting delinquency issues, as well as facilitates dependency cases in Court with the Department of Human Services and other agency partners. As a one person department, the Director is also the probation officer, tracker, office manager, and the only 24-hour on-call emergency staff. Sherman County's Juvenile Director further serves as a member of the Prevention Coalition, Family Safety Net, and Multi-Disciplinary Team to provide the best possible wrap-around services for juveniles in the community.
